Nutrition - Who do we believe?

We are bringing you another episode we recorded at The Ohio State Center for EMS - Controversies at the Shoe Conference.  Dr. Jeremy Girmann from the University of Cincinnati joined us to help demystify "nutrition" and what we should be eating.  This topic is so important for those of us in healthcare because we are already dealing with long hours, extreme amounts of stress, and sleep deprivation.

Please let us know what you think of this episode and/or you have something you would like to add to this conversation.

Dealing with Stress-Criticial Incident Stress Debriefing

In this episode we sat down with Dr. Kenneth Yeager from The Ohio State University to discuss stress as well as critical incident stress debriefings (CISD).  Stress is something we all deal with and it affects everyone differently.  However, it becomes very concerning when stress, PTSD, or emotional situations begin to affect our health and our lives overall.  If you find yourself constantly thinking about a situation, event, or incident and it is affecting personal relations or your health, talk to someone!

We recorded this episode at The OSU Center for EMS-Controversies at the Shoe Conference where the background noise was a little more than we would like.  We apologize for any difficulty you may have in listening to this episode!!
